Unknown gunmen have abducted the mother of the Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government, Mrs. Betinah Benson.

According to reports, the abductors who were allegedly dressed in military uniform, stormed the residence of the victim in the Old Assembly Quarters, Yenagoa on Tuesday night, July 20, and abducted her.

The state police command says it will be releasing a statement concerning the matter soon.
