Hailey Bieber has reacted to rumor of her husband, Justin Bieber not treating her nicely.
While Justin has often gushed over his wife on social media, some fans have pointed to a video filmed in Las Vegas as evidence that he is unkind to Hailey. The video which was taken after Justin appeared on stage for a concert, showed the “Sorry” singer speaking passionately to his wife, which some interpreted as him yelling at her.
One person who had allegedly witnessed the ordeal in person tweeted of the situation, tweeted at that time;
“I was right there walking behind him and he was not yelling at her. He had just gotten off stage at the club and was hype and had all this adrenaline. They were both smiling and laughing but of course that’s not the part of the video that gets posted. Stop twisting things.”
The model addressed rumor of not being treated nicely in her marriage, in the latest episode of 4D with Demi Lovato. According to her, there is no truth in the claim as she is married to someone who is “extremely respectful of her”.
Hailey said;
“You have to know what the truth is behind everything. There’s so many narratives that float around about me, about him, about us together.
“There’s one big fat narrative that goes around that’s like, ‘Justin is not nice to her and he mistreats her.’ It’s so far from the truth. It’s the complete and utter opposite.”
She continued;
“I really am lucky to say I’m with someone who is extremely respectful of me, who makes me feel special every single day.
“So when I see the opposite of that, I’m just like, ‘Huh?’ And everybody around who knows us personally would say the same thing.
“If the lie is, ‘They’re miserable in their relationship.’ Well, the truth is that we’ve literally never been more obsessed with each other and we have so much fun together.”
Hailey also admitted that the constant scrutiny gets to her, but Justin is always available to reassure her of his love.
She added;
“I think Justin does a very good job of reminding me because I have my low days where I’m like, ‘This is too much and all the things people are saying, I can’t take it today.’ Again, he’ll come in and be like, ‘Well, the truth is this, the truth is that you’re good and you’re secure and you’re loved and all of your friends love you and your family loves you and I love you.’”
In 2019, Hailey spoke to Vogue about the challenges in her marriage. She said at that time;
“We’re two young people who are learning as we go. I’m not going to sit here and lie and say it’s all a magical fantasy. It’s always going to be hard. It’s a choice.
“You don’t feel it every single day. You don’t wake up every day saying, ‘I’m absolutely so in love and you are perfect.’ That’s not what being married is. But there’s something beautiful about it anyway — about wanting to fight for something, commit to building with someone.”
