Elmira Bondarenko, 8, tragically died after saying she felt unwell during a break at her school in the village of Brailov, central Ukraine.
The incident occurred after Elmira was brought to school by her father Sergey Kupchishin last week.
Devastated by his daughter’s sudden death, he told local media: “She was fine and happy on our way to school that morning.
“Then, a few hours later, her teacher called and said she had got sick.”
Elmira’s teachers say she complained about an acute headache minutes before losing consciousness.
