Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were surrounded by friends and family — albeit separately — over the recent Fourth of July weekend.
A source close to the This Is Me … Now: A Love Story star says she spent the holiday “with family and friends” in the Hamptons in New York, and “always enjoys” the coastal locale.
“She seems fine,” the insider adds of Lopez, 54.
As for Affleck, 51, another source says the two-time Oscar winner was in Los Angeles, where he visited his office and spent time with his three children.
The spouses, who tied the knot in Las Vegasin July 2022, have spent this summer largely apart as they face strain in their marriage.

Most recently, Lopez was spotted out and about in Bridgehampton, New York, shopping with her manager, Benny Medina, on Friday, July 5.
Affleck, meanwhile, was seen on the opposite coast in Los Angeles, grabbing lunch at Baltaire Restaurant. Both he and the “Let’s Get Loud” singer were pictured wearing their wedding rings.
Lopez also wore her wedding band four days earlier, as she was snapped in New York City, dressed in a white crop top with the words “JLO BE MY MAMA” printed in bold, black letters.
Affleck recently wrapped filming The Accountant 2, a sequel to his 2016 action film, in Los Angeles.
As for Lopez, she recently starred in her latest Coach campaign and confirmed that her production company, Nuyorican, is working with Netflix on a series adaptation of Emily Henry’s young-adult novel Happy Place.
