Data from a government report shows a decline in coronavirus cases within the 10-19 age group – particularly in the East Midlands, North East, and Yorkshire and Humber
A government report has shown case rates remain highest in the 10-19 and 20-29 age groups.
But graphs showing infection rates per 100,000 by age group and region show an evident decrease in cases within these young age groups.
The most marked decline of cases within the 10-19 age group appears to be in the East Midlands, North East, and Yorkshire and Humber.
The Government’s ‘Weekly national influenza and Covid-19 surveillance report’ is based on data from week 42 (between 12 and 18 October 2020) and some indicators of daily data up to 20 October.
