Tess Daly took to her Instagram account to share a rare snap of them with their two daughters, Phoebe, 16, and 11-year-old Amber, as she wished him luck on the ITV show.
The sepia image showed the family of four all cuddled up with huge grins on their faces as they posed for the camera.
Neither Vernon or Tess post many pictures of their daughters on social media, but Tess clearly made an exception when Vernon was about to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey on the programme.
“GOOD LUCK VERNON,” Tess wrote alongside red love heart emojis.
“After not being able to see him for what feel like AGES me & the girls can’t wait to watch Vern on tonight’s first @imacelebrity and see how he fares in the Castle!
