The ‘Minecraft Movie’ actor showed off a pair of black and red boxers while stopping by the late-night show
Jack Black handled a wardrobe malfunction like a pro while making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!
The 55-year-old actor stopped by the late-night show on March 31 to promote his upcoming A Minecraft Movie and an April 5 hosting gig on Saturday Night Live. He surprised the audience by coming out jamming on an electric guitar.
However, Black’s entrance ended with his pants falling off his waist as he skipped up the steps to join Jimmy Fallon, exposing a pair of black and red boxers.
The actor shared a hug with Fallon before pulling his pants back up. As he moved across the stage to take a seat, he did a dance for the audience who broke into cheers.
“You bring the heat! You bring the energy,” Fallon, 50, told Black, prompting him to jokingly reply, “I didn’t bring a belt. That’s what I didn’t bring,” as he laughed off the moment.
During his interview with Fallon, Black recalled his previous times hosting SNL in 2002, 2003 and 2005. They also shared a video of one of Black’s first acting gigs — a video game commercial that he starred in as a child.

When he takes over SNL this weekend, he’ll be joined by musical guests Elton John and Brandi Carlile. He follows Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison, who poked fun at her stripper skillsduring her opening monologue.
The Anora actress made her SNL hosting debut fresh off winning Best Actress at the 2025 Oscars last month.
Black referred to his upcoming appearance as “cray cray,” telling Variety that he was feeling the pressure to live up to expectations.
“Just so you know, having lots of nightmares, and night terrors and also fond memories flooding back. It’s crazy, very exciting,” he said.
A Minecraft Movie premieres in theaters on April 4.
