Joe Wicks has opened up about his past, admitting it’s not all been smooth sailing to get to where he is today.
The Body Coach, 34, said that although he’s proud of the fitness empire’s he’s built in the last six years, his kids are actually what he’s most proud of.
And while from the outside looking in Joe’s life may look picture-perfect to some, not everything has been this way back when he was a kid.
Growing up in a council estate in Epsom, Joe faced many hardships when it came to family life.
His beloved father Gary was largely absent due to his drug addiction and time in rehab, which made Joe crave a perfect family life even more.
Speaking to Closer, he said: “My dad suffered with a drug addiction – he was so loving and amazing when he was there, but he’d always be disappearing to rehab or be out of the house.
