A Good Morning Britain guest who is still recovering from Covid-19 asked Kate Garraway how Derek Draper was doing on the show
Kate Garraway thanked a Good Morning Britain guest on Thursday who reached out to her, after his battle with Coronavirus.
Anil Patel was struck down with Covid-19 earlier this year and left seriously ill in hospital, where he remained for 156 days.
He’s now recovering in a rehabilitation centre and hopes to be home soon, not having been able to see his family for months.
Anil had learned Kate’s husband Derek Draper had been in a similar situation to him, amid his own battle with the virus.
Derek has been in hospital since he was struck down with Covid-19 in March, with him placed into an induced coma in April.
