Sarah Snook plays a special role in Kieran Culkin’s son’s life.

The A Real Pain actor, 42, spoke with Colman Domingo during an episode of Variety’s “Actors on Actors” and shared that his Successioncostar Snook, 37, is actually godmother to his 3-year-old son Wilder.

“She’s my son’s godmother,” Culkin told Domingo. “And one of my favorite people in the world.”

Although Snook and Culkin are quite close, the actor admits that they don’t speak as much as he’d like since they live so far apart.

“I’m not the best with the phone thing,” Culkin says. “I always relied on the fact that there was going to be another season.”

Earlier this month, Culkin chatted with E! News at the 34th annual Gotham Awards in New York City, where he admitted that he hasn’t allowed his two children to watch Home Alone.

“There’s still some scary parts,” the dad of two explained. “For the 3-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers.’ That’s scary for a 3-year-old.”

However, Culkin then shared that 2024 might just be the year for Kinsey and Wilder to finally get in on the film’s holiday fun.

“We think they might be ready for Home Alone this year,” he said. “If not, next year.”

In January, Culkin revealed that he already wanted to have more children. While accepting the award for outstanding lead actor in a drama series at the 75th Emmy Awards, the actor called out his wife, teasing that he wants more little ones.

“I’ve been asking for a while,” Culkin explained to reporters about why he announced “I want more” while accepting his award for his role in Succession.

“Jazz said, ‘Maybe if you win the Emmy,’ ” he continued. “I didn’t bring it up for months, and then when I won the Globe, I said, ‘Do you remember what you said?’ And she was like, ‘What? No. What did I say? I don’t remember this.’ ”
