An ignorant Nigerian man has said men have the right to beat women to correct them because the difference between women and children is insignificant.
Uche Chris Nkwoaku Ozalla said this while commenting on a Facebook post about domestic violence.
He said the marriage acts of the common law gives men the right to “moderately beat a woman to correction.”
He added: “This impression of not touching a woman as a gentleman does more harm than good!”
He continued: “Just as you beat a child to correction, same way you beat a woman to correction, because in psychology, the psyche difference between women and children is insignificant.”
