TV legend Sir Michael Parkinson appeared on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday where he spoke to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
Joined by his son Mike, Michael, 85, discussed his new book which was prompted by his Life Stories interview with Piers.
Michael broke down in tears recalling his dad’s death 40 years earlier, during his interview with Piers last year.
Michael said he had “locked his grief away in a compartment” until the moment Piers asked about his father’s death.
