A mum who went to Turkey for a gastric bypass died a week after surgery, a coroner has heard.
Khelisyah Ashamu, 26, is said to have organised the procedure using a company run by two Brits called Get Slim.
She had the op on February 2 last year after giving birth to her son by caesarean.
But her condition deteriorated in the days that followed and she died on February 9.
Khelisyah’s parents said in a statement they were “devastated” by the loss of the “wonderful mum and daughter”.

They added: “She had so much to look forward to. Now her son will never know his mother and she will not see him grow up.
