The family of Brahim Aoussaoui, 21, say he sent them a photo outside the Notre Dame basilica and sat alongside worshippers for 30 minutes before killing three people inside

The terrorist in the Nice attack sent his family a selfie outside the Notre Dame basilica before killing three people.

Brahim Aoussaoui, 21, even sat with worshippers for 30 minutes before Thursday’s bloody attack, according to CCTV footage.

Victims Simone Barreto Silva, 44, Vincent Loquès, 54, and a 70-year-old woman were killed inside the Notre Dame basilica in Nice.

It’s understood Aoussaoui arrived in Europe on the Italian island Lampedusa via a migrant boat just weeks before the devastating attack.

He then arrived in the city of Nice at around 6:30am on the day of the attacks via the railway station – where he went on to change his clothes, French prosecutor Jean-Francois Ricard told journalists.

Yacine (pictured) said his brother Brahim Issaoui sent him a selfie outside the church before the attack
