Blair Underwood still feels like a newlywed when it comes to his marriage.
Wed in June 2023, Underwood, 59, says his last official date night with wife Josie was to see the movie Bad Boys: Ride or Die. “Josie liked it even more than I did,” adds the actor, who lives in Utah. “But when I’m here in Utah, every day is like a date.”
Underwood, who stars in the horror film Longlegs and the upcoming Starz series Three Women, spoke with PEOPLE for One Last Thing:
Last memorable fan encounter
I was on a plane, and a woman said, “You know, you look like Blair Underwood.” And without skipping a beat I said, “My mother told me that when she gave birth to me.” The woman just fell out laughing.
Last guilty pleasure
During the pandemic Krispy Kreme donuts had “if you buy a dozen, you get a dozen free,” and I ate a dozen in one day. I haven’t done that since.
Last moment of self-care
We just came back from Vietnam and had a 10-hour layover in Hong Kong. The business class lounge is like a five-star hotel. They have cabanas where you can take a bath or shower, so I did.
Last time I had buyer’s remorse
I bought some eye drops because the air is so damn dry here in Utah. But I ordered maybe 300 more than I needed. I think I pushed the wrong button.
