Police parade four Katsina varsity students suspended for cultism after they fought over a girl

The Katsina State Police Command has paraded the four students of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) suspended over their involvement in cultism.



LIB reported that the students who are confirmed members of notorious cult groups, were suspended by the Vice-chancellor of the university, Professor Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi following a “Security Report”

Spokesperson of the command, SP Isah Gambo, who paraded the suspects at the police headquarters on Friday, March 13, said Peter Enajo, 31, M.Sc Sociology; Lukman N. Aminu, B.Sc Computer Science; Musa Halidu, 25, B.Sc Sociology and Maikasa Victor Lawal, B.Sc Sociology, are members of Black Axe and Aye confraternity. A fifth suspect, Abdulllahi Ado, is not a student.



“On the 4/03/2021 at about 0600hrs, the command busted members of two notorious cult groups terrorizing Federal university Dutsin-ma. The 2 cult groups known as BLACK AXE and AYE CULT engaged themselves in an open confrontation leading to a fight over girlfriend,” SP Isah stated.



Isah said that the school had already conducted investigation and suspended the students while more investigation is ongoing.
