A family of four were forced to sleep in a car after suffering vile racial abuse from a neighbour.
The family, which included a pregnant woman and two children aged two and three, became fearful of what Lionel Munt may do to them.
Munt, 44, banged on the family’s door, woke them up in the early hours of the morning by playing loud music and subjected them to sickening racist slurs as they tried to sleep.
The young children and their mother now wake up in the middle of the night “jumping” and terrified that Munt is at their door, Hull Live reports.
Shaun Dodds, prosecuting, told Hull Crown Court on Monday that Munt would play music so loud between 1am and 6am every night the flat below would “vibrate.”
This then escalated and Mr Dodds said Munt could be heard “throwing furniture around.”
