A female prison officer was warned she faces jail after admitting having a sexual relationship with a convicted double murderer – who killed his girlfriend and their baby daughter.
Lauren McIntyre, who has twin 11-week-old babies and a five-year-old, pleaded guilty to four counts of misconduct in a public office including facilitating the beating of a fellow prison officer by her lover.
The 32-year-old claims she began the affair with prisoner Andrew Roberts in a bid to uncover intelligence but it then spiralled out of control.
Roberts, was convicted in 2003 of strangling Louise L’Homme and their eight-month-old daughter Tia to death at their home in Rhondda, South Wales.
He fled the scene and was arrested five days later.
