A seven-year-old student was allegedly molested by a man during an online lesson in which her teacher spotted the attack.
The girl was taking part in the virtual lesson when her teacher claimed she saw a man carry out an appalling sex attack on her.
Police were called in and that man may now faces charges.
The Chicago Tribune reports the man suspected of sexually attacking the child while broadcasting the sex act live online was being questioned by Chicago police detectives on Friday.
The seven-year-old girl was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital after the alleged attack which happened about 1:30 p.m. in the West Chesterfield neighbourhood on the city’s South Side, police told the paper.
They said police were made aware of the apparent attack when the girl’s teacher saw it on a computer screen during a Google classroom e-learning session, police said.
