Kate Middleton and Prince William have sent a touching message to Prince of Wales wishing him a happy birthday after celebrations were curtailed by coronavirus.
Alongside the birthday wishes, the couple posted a picture of a smiling Charles to mark the occasion.
“Wishing a very Happy Birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales!,” the couple said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the Royal Family’s official twitter account, published a photo of an infant Charles with the Queen.
The message said: “Wishing The Prince of Wales a very happy birthday today!”
The Prince of Wales is celebrating his 72nd birthday as an eventful year for the country nears its end.
Charles has been busy supporting the Queen during Remembrance week – as he does every year – and is expected to mark his personal milestone privately.
