The Prime Minister is expected to make a series of key announcements about coronavirus restrictions this evening.
At 6pm today Boris Johnson will address the nation, much as he did back in March at the start of the national lockdown.
It is thought that the Conservative leader will outline a local lockdown system that will see strict measures enforced in coronavirus infection hotspots.
The changes are expected to take place on Wednesday, having been unveiled this afternoon in the Commons.
It is expected that Johnson will shed light on the following parts of the plan this evening.
