Celebrity jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, the ex-wife of actor Tobey Maguire, is engaged!
Meyer, 47, said “yes” to boyfriend Geoffrey Ogunlesi, who is the son of Nigerian billionaire lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi. She shared the happy news on Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 31, with the simple caption: “YES!!! ♥️♾️✨.”
Her post featured a photo of herself and Ogunlesi embracing as they posed in a restaurant by a table decorated with lit candles and pale pink flower arrangements. Meyer wore a black Miu Miu minidress for the occasion and sported a large diamond ring on her left hand. In the photo, a black jewelry box could be seen sitting on one of the plates on the table.
A number of Meyer’s celebrity friends congratulated her in the comment section of the post, including Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Vanessa Bryant, Kelly Rowland and Paris Hilton. Bianca Gates, co-founder of the shoe brand Birdies, wrote, “Wow!!! Huge congratulations!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎈🎉🎊🍾 And that ring!!!?!? I wouldn’t expect anything less for the jewelry queen! 💥🔥💃🏻.”
Meyer replied to Gates’ comment, “It was alllll him! Total surprise 🥰,” referring to Ogunlesi.
Meyer and her now-fiancé were first linked last summer, and later made their red carpet debut as a couple at the annual Baby2Baby Gala in November 2023. Meyer serves as a board member for the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization, which provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and other basic necessities.

Ogunlesi is the founder and CEO of The Ogunlesi Group, an entertainment and music management company whose roster of artists includes Young Thug, charlieonnafriday and Myles Frost.
Meyer was previously married to Maguire, 49, from 2007 to 2016. The pair — who share daughter Ruby Sweetheart, 17, and son Otis Tobias, 15 — finalized their divorce in 2020.
Meyer recently offered a glimpse into her co-parenting relationship with the Spider-Man star as she shared an Instagram post in honor of Maguire for Father’s Day back in June.
Alongside a photo of the pair with their two children, she wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to the greatest dad/X/bff!! T- don’t know what we did in this life to get so lucky with you! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, no matter where the path ‘together’ brings you, picking a great man to be your baby’s Dad is everything.”
She added, “You are the most loyal, loving, generous, ride-or-die human being. Ruby and Otis hit the jackpot. We love you! ♥️.”
