Transfer Deadline Day is here and clubs throughout the land will be trying to push through some last-minute deals before the window closes at 11pm.
Manchester United have agreed a deal for Edinson Cavani, while the Red Devils remain keen on Jadon Sancho and Alex Telles.
Arsenal appear to have run out of time to bring in new faces – but could still be ready to offload more players.
They have been linked with Houssem Aouar, Thomas Partey and Jorginho, but none of those deals look likely.
Liverpool’s business looks done, although the Premier League champions have been linked with a late swoop for Ousmane Dembele, who is also interesting United.
Chelsea remain keen on Declan Rice, but West Ham are hopeful of fending off the interest.
Blues braced for Hudson-Odoi bid
Bayern Munich will make another offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi before tomorrow’s deadline, according to The Athletic .
The bid is expected to be “sizeable”, but Chelsea are not willing to sell the 19-year-old winger.
They will reject Bayern’s offer, regardless of the finances involved, as Frank Lampard looks to further integrate Hudson-Odoi in his first team.
Bayern boss Hansi Flick has spoken publicly of his admiration for the England international, who started against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The European champions were said to have made a loan offer for Hudson-Odoi with an option to buy him for £70m next year.
That transfer fee could be even higher if another approach is made, but it seems Chelsea are not willing to negotiate.
Spurs eyeing Skriniar signing
Tottenham are making one last push for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to strengthen his central defence and wants the 25-year-old Slovakian.
Inter have already slapped a £45m price tag on him which is way out of Tottenham ’s valuation but they are trying to negotiate and also offload other players to ease the wage bill.
Tottenham have sent Juan Foyth on loan to Villarreal, while they still need to offload Danny Rose before the window shuts on Monday.
Dembele listening to offers
Liverpool could reignite their interest in Ousmane Dembele as the Barcelona winger seeks out a move.
Sport claim that the 23-year-old originally intended to stay with the Blaugrana, but manager Ronald Koeman considers him surplus to requirements.
Liverpool had an approach for Dembele rebuffed earlier in the transfer window, which ‘surprised’ Jurgen Klopp.
The assumption was that the Frenchman would not leave Barcelona, but Manchester United ’s recent interest could encourage Liverpool to go back in for Dembele.
Man Utd latest
Manchester United fans will hope that transfer deadline day goes better than the rest of the window following a frustrating summer for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Edinson Cavani is set to sign on a free transfer after leaving PSG, but United look set for disappointment in their chase for Jadon Sancho.
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has come in for some criticism given United’s relative lack of transfer activity – although they do look set to sign left-back Alex Telles from Porto on deadline day.
However, fans have been calling for at least one centre-back, and Sunday’s 6-1 capitulation at home to Tottenham highlighted the need for more quality throughout the back four.
