Donald Trump tweeted his support for a group who tried to run a Biden campaign bus off the road.

The President branded the group “patriots” who “did nothing wrong.”

Supporters of the President were accused of trying to “intimidate” Biden campaigners on a highway near Austin, Texas.

Footage shows a group of vehicles carrying Trump flags surrounding the battle bus.

At one point, one of the 4x4s hits another car – reportedly being driven by a Biden campaign staffer – which had been following the bus – pushing it out into the middle of the three-lane highway.

The FBI has launched a probe into the incident, which took place on Friday.

It comes as reports of Trump planning a huge election night party at the White House for around 400 guests, it has been claimed.
