Olympics legend, Usain Bolt has slammed Manchester United for relying so heavily on Cristiano Ronaldo following his return to the club.

Ronaldo, 36. has been United’s saving grace this season, scoring nine goals in 12 games and keeping his club in the Champions League reckoning.

All eyes will be on the Portuguese superstar when he leads the line for United at Watford on Saturday.

However, former Jamaican sprinter and Man. U fan Bolt believes his club is relying too heavily on Ronaldo and that the club will struggle if other players do not step up to share the load.

Bolt told The Nationali: “Cristiano has saved us in every game.”

“One guy has to do all the work. We have not played good football in so long.”

Bolt also admitted that he wanted Antonio Conte to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before the Italian linked up with Tottenham.

Bolt added: “I wanted Conte. He’s going to do so well at Spurs, he is going to get them organised.

“Everywhere he goes, he structures the team so well. In January, he is probably going to get one or two players.

“Then at the end of the season, he is probably going to find proper players and bring them in.”

The pressure is now on Solskjaer to turn United’s fortunes around, with the likes of Leicester’s Brendan Rodgers reportedly being lined up as his replacement.
