A community charging station was installed for members of Nara community in Nkanu East LGA, Enugu State, but Nigerians are not impressed.
The charging station is located in the market place known as Orie Nara.
Chairs were also set up for the villagers to sit while their phones charge.
When the photos were shared online, some praised the governor for the charging station. However, many people were not impressed and called the state governor “clueless”.
“I’ve never seen a more foolish man in my life. I passed Queens today and armed soldiers are still stationed there. Dont even get me started on that bus stop he is constructing because what in the uwa ndi isi di mma is that?” One Twitter user wrote.
Another said: “He spends more money on PR than doing any good work.”
“Lmao…what a joke,” another tweeted.
