An unnamed woman died from coronavirus while waiting on the runway prior to a flight from Arizona to Texas in July, with county officials only informed she had the virus a few days ago
An aeroplane passenger who died after complaining of breathing difficulties while waiting to takeoff had coronavirus, officials have said.
The woman, in her 30s, was given oxygen while the plane waited on the runway prior to a scheduled flight from Arizona to Texas, US, in July.
She had underlying health problems.
Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins confirmed the death was Covid-19-related on Sunday, around 12 weeks after the unnamed woman died on July 25.
She has been identified as a resident of Garland, Texas, but it is unclear if she was aware she had the virus when she died, reports Buzzfeed News.
