A woman used her ex-boyfriend’s Alexa to startle his new girlfriend from 130 miles away, a court was told.
Phillipa Copleston-Warren is accused of harnessing the electrical personal assistance from her home in Chelsea, West London to startle the new partner.
Allegedly the 45-year-old remotely flashed the lights in her ex’s home on and off and used Alexa to tell the new girlfriend to leave, Lincolnshire Live reported.
She left the Lincolnshire home in floods of tears, a hearing on Thursday, October 8 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.
Management consultant Copleston-Warren is also accused of hacking her former partner’s Facebook to upload a naked photo of him.
Prosecutor Misba Majid said: “This is a domestic abuse case.
“The complainant and the defendant having been in a relationship from October 2018 up until the relationship ended around October 2019.
