WWE Backlash was an event that would remain in the hearts of fans as Randy Orton and Adam Edge settled their scores in the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever.

The fight saw both the American and Canadian used finishing moves of The Rock’s Rock Bottom, Kurt Angle’s Angle Slam Christian’s Unprettier and Triple H’s Pedigree but that did not end the match.

Randy delivered to RKO’s and it did not pin Edge until he landed a punt to the head which earned him a 1-2-3 count for the win.

The event was action-packed and all the belts in RAW and SmackDown were put on the line but no new champion emerged.

RAW tag team championships The Street Profits fought against the Viking Raiders in a match that saw them battle across the WWE Performance Center with a winner emerging.

Apollo Crews also retained his United States championship following a victory over former titleholder Andrade.

The match between RAW Women’s champion Asuka and Nia Jax ended in a double count-out as the Empress of Tomorrow retained her title.

WWE champion Drew McIntyre took advantage of Lana’s interference in his match with Bobby Lashley to steal a Claymore Kick and pin the challenger.

In a handicap match involving Braun Strowman and the tag team pair of The Miz and John Morrison saw the Monster among Men conquer the pair.

The triple threat match for the women’s tag team championship involving titleholders Bayley and Sasha Banks versus Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss with the IIconics saw Bayley and Saha retain their belts.

The vacant Intercontinental championship belt was contested between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan and the former came out victorious.
