Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to strengthen their countries and the region.

He also disclosed that they are working on co-production with Turkish defense companies to strengthen security.
He wrote, “I started my meeting with President @RTErdogan. I am grateful to Türkiye for its reliable support for Ukraine.
“Both of our countries, the entire region and global food security require unconditional security of navigation in the Black Sea. We can accomplish this by working together.
“We are interested in strengthening bilateral cooperation and co-production with Turkish defense companies.
“We also require Türkiye’s assistance in releasing our prisoners of war and all of our people, including Crimean Tatars, held captive by Russia.”
