A 12-year-old girl girl was raped to death by a married bike rider identified as Dare in Ondo state.

According to reports, Dare who has been arrested raped 12-year-old Zainab Justina Adeyemo, who was returning from an errand in a neighbouring village when she boarded Dare’s bike.

Dare rather than take her to her destination, allegedly took her to a bush where he raped her to death, Vanguard reports.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Friday July 17th, 2020. The victim’s mom who spoke with Vanguard, said the suspect was arrested after it was confirmed that he was the one who carried her.

The suspect later confessed to defiling and killing her in the bush. He claimed that Zainab died as result of the struggle that ensued between them during the process and he dumped her body in the bush.

He said he raped her multiple times, noting that he is married and his wife is 6 months pregnant.
