Good Morning Britain star Dr Hilary Jones warned about the dangers of relying on herd immunity, to stop coronavirus
Dr Hilary Jones urged experts and the public to be “cautious” before relying on herd immunity in a bid to stop Coronavirus.
It was reported this week that hundreds of scientists and medical experts were calling for a new herd immunity strategy, in a bid to make the public resistant to Covid-19.
The policy could include allowing the young and the fit to live normally, without social distancing measures and a lockdown.
Meanwhile, the elderly and those at high risk would be “protected” by encouraging them to continue to isolate and follow strict guidelines.
On Good Morning Britain on Thursday, Dr Hilary discussed the possible new lockdown measures being brought in.
