A report from Spain has it that La Liga side Levante are interested in Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo.

Omeruo who plays for Leganes also in Spain has been decent since he joined the La Liga club in the summer of 2018.

According to Marca, Levante have the 26-year-old Nigerian on top of their shortlist as they look to get a new central defender for next season.

The Nigeria international defender was consistent in his first season at Leganes before he signed a permanent contract with the club.

He couldn’t maintain that level of consistency in his second season with Leganes as the club struggled in La Liga.

With just two games to go in the 2019/2020 season, Leganes are currently in relegation places.

If they end up relegated, Leganes will be keen on letting go of Omeruo who played 23 games this season.
