Corrie star Sue Cleaver opened up on co star Tony Maudsley and having her on screen son replaced by a different actor

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver spoke to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning about her upcoming scenes as Eileen Grimshaw.

Benidorm actor Tony Maudsley recently joined the Corrie cast to play George Shuttleworth, and Sue admitted they were a “nightmare” together.

“What about George and that little flirtation, is it one way traffic?” asked Eamonn.

Sue replied: “It is at the moment, it didn’t impress Eileen much, staging Todd’s funeral, and Mary is very keen on him.
