Mick Payne, 48, was bitten all over his body including his arms, legs, fingers, face and top of his head and was forced to go to hospital for treatment

A dad was left suffering shocking horse fly bites after a huge pile of rotting rubbish was dumped at the bottom of his garden, he claims.

Mick Payne, 48, was bitten all over his body including his arms, legs, fingers, face and top of his head.

He claims the bites, which he likened to a ‘horror movie’, caused him to fall into a fever and he had to receive hospital treatment as a result.

The 48-year-old says he is being terrorised by the insects and his back garden, in Handsworth, is now a no go zone.

He blames the infestation of horse flies on a huge pile of rotting rubbish dumped at the end of his garden on land owned by Network Rail.
