EastEnders’ Gray Atkins begins to lose control next week, as his guilt over killing wife Chantelle leads to a clash with Linda Carter.

With his emotions mistaken for grief by residents of Walford, they have no idea of the dark secret he has been keeping.

Last month, after years of physical and mental abuse, Chantelle told her evil husband she was leaving him.

He ended up shoving her so hard, she landed on the open dishwasher door and fell onto a sharp knife that was pointing upwards.

He then left her to die, got his alibi sorted and claimed he’d come home from the shop to find her dead.
