The Ellen DeGeneres Show has suspended production until the end of March due to the ongoing coronavirus threat.

Host Ellen DeGeneres announced the news via her Twitter page on Friday night.

“Hey there. Me again. So, after some more thought, we have decided to suspend production completely until March 30th. We just want to take every precaution to ensure that we do our part to keep everyone healthy. I love you guys, and can’t wait to come back. I’m already bored.” DeGeneres tweeted.

News of the suspension comes a day after she announced they would follow in the steps of other popular shows by scrapping her live audience because of the deadly coronavirus.
