Israel’s former Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has mocked U.S. President Joe Biden in a live Facebook video on Sunday, September 19, claiming that Biden had fallen asleep when meeting the new Israeli leader Naftali Bennett last month.

After the meeting last month, Social media users shared a video clip of the U.S. president that they said showed him looking down and nodding off as Bennett spoke in the Oval Office.

But a Reuters fact checked dismissed the suggestions saying the video was manipulated

In a video Netanyahu posted on his Facebook page on Sunday, an off-camera voice says: “You know, Bennett met with Biden.”https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?gdpr=0&us_privacy=1—&client=ca-pub-2427099653703778&output=html&h=300&adk=2141876619&adf=667904977&pi=t.aa~a.1834861711~i.21~rp.4&w=360&lmt=1632134144&num_ads=1&rafmt=1&armr=3&sem=mc&pwprc=4779063894&psa=1&ad_type=text_image&format=360×300&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lindaikejisblog.com%2F2021%2F9%2Fformer-israeli-leader-benjamin-netanyahu-mocks-joe-biden-on-facebook-live-suggesting-he-fell-asleep-while-meeting-new-israeli-pm-video.html&flash=0&fwr=1&pra=3&rh=275&rw=330&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&sfro=1&wgl=1&fa=27&adsid=ChEI8OKgigYQ-b6Wr8eou42kARJIABRlNnyF7ls9RD6qJwpZYQDleYkH789-vSwSMZUkd5m3lg4n53zEl6QuYicmZuoYUKjmrXH46sl1ozNb5nNs-I0gFoYKm5Ix&uach=WyJBbmRyb2lkIiwiOSIsIiIsIkluZmluaXggWDY1MEIiLCI5Mi4wLjQ1MTUuMTE1IixbXSxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbF0.&tt_state=W3siaXNzdWVyT3JpZ2luIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly9hdHRlc3RhdGlvbi5hbmRyb2lkLmNvbSIsInN0YXRlIjo3fV0.&dt=1632134143927&bpp=25&bdt=6634&idt=-M&shv=r20210915&mjsv=m202109170101&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3D6f62d75ac2f0c0c6-2251d019a8c80035%3AT%3D1622665487%3ART%3D1622665487%3AS%3DALNI_MZ85Ep3SvTaGfc8Juk8Onrd6Hwi6g&prev_fmts=0x0%2C360x300&nras=3&correlator=5051059562639&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=1187515804.1622665486&ga_sid=1632134140&ga_hid=868942138&ga_fc=0&u_tz=60&u_his=3&u_java=0&u_h=800&u_w=360&u_ah=800&u_aw=360&u_cd=24&u_nplug=0&u_nmime=0&adx=0&ady=1968&biw=360&bih=664&scr_x=0&scr_y=458&eid=31062518%2C21067496&oid=3&psts=AGkb-H-TORiRqjTfzdEF2fRzRWSvfvRWoh0n9OZb0mQuKOv-DGx-i2DLehdmlnn9hoE1ELbjtp6CN-ZjkWU&pvsid=1022726066874094&pem=777&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lindaikejisblog.com%2F&eae=0&fc=1408&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C360%2C0%2C360%2C720%2C360%2C720&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7Cs%7C&abl=NS&fu=1152&bc=31&jar=2021-09-19-11&ifi=3&uci=a!3&btvi=1&fsb=1&xpc=9yD9gfFdAg&p=https%3A//www.lindaikejisblog.com&dtd=862

“I heard. I heard that Biden was very attentive at this meeting. He dropped his head in agreement,” Netanyahu replied while smiling, letting his own head fall in a swift motion, as if to mimic someone falling asleep.

Netanyahu, 71, and head of the right-wing Likud party, was a friend and huge supporter of Donald Trump, and both carried out policies that favored the Israeli nation.

In June, a new government of left-wing, centrist, right-wing and Arab parties led by Bennett replaced Netanyahu’s administration, ending the conservative politician’s 12-year run as Israel’s longest-serving leader.
