Popular singer Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, has said his journey as a musician is just about to begin.

According to him, he is yet to scoop any major achievement in the music industry despite his accolades, stream and chart successes.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, Wizkid said music, to him, is a forever thing. 

He said, “The journey is about to begin for Wizkid. I don’t see myself as someone who has achieved something major yet. For me, music is a forever thing.”

Wizkid is one of the most popular artistes out of Africa with tons of music awards to his credit.

We’re like family – Wizkid opens up on relationship with Burna Boy

Wizkid, recently, opened up about his relationship with Burna Boy.

In an interview, he recounted that they first met while working on Burna Boy’s record “African Giant.”

He referred to Burna Boy as his family.

The Ojuelegba crooner added that having two great people in the same room will inevitably result in some amazing music.

In the video, the singer said; “Burna Boy and I are like family, when you have two great people in the room, you are bound to make amazing music.”
