Kate Ferdinand has hit back at those who said she couldn’t call the late Rebecca Ellison’s children her ‘family’ when she spoke about them on social media

Kate Ferdinand has hit back at online trolls who slated her for saying that her husband Rio and his late wife Rebecca’s children were her “family”.

The 29-year-old former TOWIE star, who is pregnant with ex-England football captain Rio Ferdinand’s fourth child, was attacked on social media after she said that his first three children were “family” as she brings them up as if they were her own.

She labelled the trolls “narrow minded” and “sad” as she replied to comments made on her Instagram post.

As the country headed towards lockdown, the former reality star shared a throwback photo from the summer when she joined Rio and the kids for a sunshine holiday.

The pic showed Kate swimming in in the sea and she captioned it: “One of my favourite days of this year, out at sea with the family …. no worries, happy & stress free”
