When Meghan Markle started dating Prince Harry, she was entering a whole new world.

Very few people knew what she was taking on, so it’s hardly surprising that fans expected the one person who really understood –  her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton – to become a sort of mentor.

However insiders claim the two women never really hit it off, saying they were simply “very different” rather than having a fallout as such.

This didn’t stop speculation about their relationship circulating, especially after it was clear Meghan and Harry were going to take a very different approach to royal life.

While Kate and William followed the royal rule book when it came to their children, the Sussexes had different ideas – especially when it came to Archie’s christening.
