Lagos state government on Saturday, May 8, removed gates from adjourning streets in Lekki Phase one.

According to Gawat Jubril, the Special Assistant to the state governor on New Media, the gates were removed for obstructing the free flow of traffic during the day.

Jubril added that gates in adjourning streets in the state can only be locked from 12 midnight to 5am and must be opened for all during the day.
