Lockdown has increased pressures on Brits

The grant is available to those whose finances have been negatively impacted by the pandemic

Businesses who have been adversely impacted by the pandemic have until the end of Monday to apply for support worth up to £6,750.

This is through the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) which is available to businesses who earn less than £50,000 a year.

The taxable payout is worth 70% of your average monthly trading profits, and those who qualify will be paid in a single instalment covering three months of income.

It’s capped at £2,190 a month – so the maximum you can claim is £6,750 in total.

However, it closes at midnight on October 19, 2020.
