The presidential panel that grilled the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, for hours on Monday has resumed sitting.

A check at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja venue of the sitting at about noon on Tuesday indicated that members of the Justice Ayo Salami-led panel were already sitting.

Magu who reportedly spent the night in police custody after Monday’s grilling is expected to appear before the panel again on Tuesday.

But like what happened on Monday, security operatives attached to the venue again stopped State House reporters from gaining access into the venue.
