Emergency services rushed to the scene in Sparkhill where they found a man with multiple stab injuries – he was taken to hospital for treatment
A 24-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in a street as three cars were burned out nearby in Birmingham.
Armed police, paramedics and the fire service were all called to the incident in Sparkhill shortly after 11pm on Monday.
The man was discovered in the road after being knifed multiple times.
A car on the road was deliberately set on fire which also caused damage to several other parked cars, police said.
One eyewitnesses who lives nearby told Birmingham Live: “I was sleeping and I heard a big bang.
“It was a crash. There was a fire and we called 999 and they said they were already on their way.
