The Married at First Sight star was scared to go out after she received online abuse from some viewers following her appearance on the Channel 4 show

Llanelli’s Shareen Geers, 48, had never met the man she was about to marry, but was paired with David from Solihull by dating experts on the Channel 4 show.

Shareen was one of 7,000 applicants who had applied to find her perfect match, and said she knew she’d be able to find the one.

The TV show saw Shareen and David tie the knot in the fifth season, who had agreed to marry each other, enjoy their honeymoon and live together at the beginning of lockdown.
