Kuha Raj Sithamparanathan is believed to have killed himself when police forced their way into his home in Brentford, West London, with officers then discovering his wife and son dead inside

These are the first pictures of a mother who was found dead alongside her son after a ‘murder suicide’.

The pair are believed to have been dead ‘for some time’ before their bodies were discovered at the west London flat.

Officers found 36-year-old Poorna Kaameshwari Sivaraj and her toddler son Kailash Kuha Raj at a home in Clayponds Lane, Brentford, shortly before 1am on Tuesday.

Her husband 42-year-old Kuha Raj Sithamparanathan, who was Kailash’s father, was found with stab wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.

He is believed to have fatally injured himself when officers forced entry to the property, the Metropolitan Police said.
