Samantha Williamson, 43, said she used to tell people Covid-19 ‘wasn’t real’ but now she says she is proof it exists as she fights the disease in a hospital in Oklahoma, US

A mother-of-three who didn’t believe in coronavirus has now spent 22 days struggling to breathe while battling the disease in hospital.

Samantha Williamson, 43, said she used to tell people Covid-19 ‘wasn’t real’ but now she says she is proof it exists.

She admits she thought she was going to die at the worst point in her battle with the deadly disease that has killed 1,121,365 people worldwide, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

Samantha warned people to ‘wear their mask’.

“I didn’t believe in Covid-19,” single mum Samantha told News 9 from her hospital bed in Oklahoma, US.

“I was one of those people that were telling everybody that it wasn’t real, but it is real. I am proof of it.”
