Barely 24 hours after a female officer was caught on tape asking for bribe from a male passenger at the Murtala Mohammed International airport in Lagos, the Nigeria Customs Service has taken to celebrate its officer, Eli Molta, who guided a passenger to pay the duty for his PS5, provided internet, and emailed the receipt to him. 

Posting the photo of the officer and a video on its X handle, the agency said Molta is among the numerous officers that upholds the virtue of the service.

”Kudos to Mr. Eli Molta, a  proper Nigeria Customs officer at the Murtala Mohammed Int’l Airport.  He guided a passenger to pay the duty for his PS5, provided internet, and emailed the receipt. This is one of our numerous Officers upholding the virtue of the service.”
