A Nigerian lady has shared the story of how she stood up for a fellow woman who was being sexually assaulted inside a market by some uncultured male traders. 

In a post shared on X, a lady with the handle @theseun_tuntur stated that she was in the market when she heard a lady shouting ‘’stop following me”. She said she saw four men tap the lady’s butt and went on to say ‘’you nor even wear pant”.

Seun said it was at this point she knew she had to stand up for the lady. She said she stepped forward and used her bag to hit the traders who were angry she stood up for the woman they were assaulting.

Seun in her post asked other women to learn how to stand up for each other in times like this.
